Here are some pic's from the 2019 Deuce Days. I give credit to the photographers. All Hambers. I did not attend this year but wish I had.

Looks like you have one more 40 than you have stalls..... I have room for one more;);) i could use a pickup;)

  3. I have another building behind this one, and also the garage attached to the house..so I'm covered..well they're covered.

HMMMMM , Just my luck, a guy who has stalls for all of his treasures! Nice line up! I was just giving my cousin a bad time the other day as he was showing me his latest project of converting a storage shed in to a garage. Seems he doesn't like having to store his cars two deep in his buildings. He doesn't like having to move one out of the way to get it at the one he wants to drive (we should all have such a problem). I think this will make 7 stalls for seven Hot Rods. I told him he should label the garage doors by the days of the week so he can keep track of which car to drive each day.

^^^^^^^^^ That's a tasteful and beautiful custom '40. Does it get driven often or is it primarily a show car?
Notice it has a molded in rear gravel pan. When the Atlanta Motor Speedway held their Motorama in 2005 they had a special section set aside for 40s in honor of the 75th anniversary and I noticed several cars with an aftermarket bolt in gravel pan in rear, but never got to ask an owner who knew where to get one.
Anybody else seen one of these and have knowledge of where they can be purchased?

Here is one from Bob Drake. I have a homemade one on my 39. It is flat sheet metal and gives better coverage than this one. It is not as finished looking though. I think some some one with a bead roller could fabricate a nice looking one without too much trouble though.

Running errands on a hot day in Mississippi. 1st one is at the court house for car tags, 2nd one is at insurance office and the last is At Cousin Louie's Pharmacy. Today marks the 110th day I have driven Little Red this year. Later Bill

'40s etc. at Louisville. I got to park next to a sweet convertible, so I'll start with that picture.

I could look at 40s all day long every day and not get tired of 'em. They look great from any angle, in any style, stock, custom, hot rod, it's all good!

For a while now, I've been admiring '40s with DeLuxe headlight rings and chromed '40 Standard grilles. It's become my favorite treatment for '40 front ends. This thread has so many of them that you'd think it was a stock factory option!
