Just picked up the decals for the cup. Thanks to my buddy Doug Canham for the great work! So to sign up, look for me (blue’40 coupe) at the La Quinta Inn or at the track on race day

The last few years are missing on the trophy but they’ve been very fast years, I’ll go down and check for the slowest for ya lol

 

Looks like @jho with a 12.17 in 2014 is the slowest number on the trophy. Want to say the three missing times were two 9 second passes and maybe a high ten or low 11? I think Jason and @raven maybe split it that year? Memory is hazy

 

@SamIyam and @racer-x had the 9 second wins I believe

Because, well duh. That car is a monster haha

 

Had to stop off at the Knee doctor on the way out of town to get my clutch knee drained and a cortisone shot for those lightning quick reaction times, then we’re heading to Missouri! I haven’t figured out what I forgot to bring yet (I always forget something) but I know I’ve got the Yay-Hoo Cup decals and a notebook and pen to sign everyone up in the trunk.

 

Can’t wait to see you all there! I think I may make the mileage requirements with going to Springfield swap meet Friday, then Joplin! Now if I can just get some more speed...hell-it’ll be my first time running anything down any track...should be entertaining for all involved

It’s not. The last three years still need tags made, I’ll look tonight to see if I have a recording of your et. In case I don’t do you know what exactly you ran so I can mark it down for the future care taker that I’m relating this stuff to?

 

I had a ball the year I did it. The 200 mile drive was sketchy with many roadside fuel ups and the threat of rain. With my tires, the rain would have killed it. I ran a 9.8720 @ 135.05 mph. Someone please mark it on the trophy with a Sharpie.

 

FWIW, I've gathered parts for Roach Rod #2... that's what I'll be bringing out next time I make the trek.

I had to go back and look at the posting in my rebuilding after the crash thread. On page 69 it says I ran 8.93.
