  1. Looking for a substitute for dupont 7995s activator chromaclear clear.
Is there a nason activator/reducer that will work? 20190813_165040.jpg

Why do you want a substitute for the correct activator? I don’t think any paint expert would using anything other than what the manufacturer recommends

Nason is a product of Du Pont or Axalta or Sparky'Sparky ' p rest rested Concrete or whatever they call themselves these days. Although I haven't used that particular item mixed with Nason, I have mixed other products from them without a problem .

I usley do not paint in the summer so the additive I have (4qt) for the chromaclear is mide temp good to 85deg.
I do have some nason selectclear and additive I use for small parts and repairs that's good for the heat of summer.
    The chromaclear is additive is$110
The select clear is additive $45.
Went ahead and used the mid temp 7985s I had for the chromaclear. It will just take a little more sanding but it came out ok. 20190813_164044.jpg
