What is this make/model, looks to be of European origins; DKW, Tablot, Auto Union? I've only seen that ribbed style central roof spine on vintage exotics. Those large diameter wheels:oops: What underpinning, look to be Brembo brakes?

Looks to be the same car with different wheels and door mirrors?

Don't you have pictures of English cars with right hand drive? These look too North American.

When I scan event galleries my favorite pick is usually some kind of 32 Ford.
Not this time, nope, that no.8 Corvette really blows my dress up.

  27. Some VERY NICE rides going on there! But that "thing" is flat out making me want to puke!
No offence to anyone's tastes, but just not mine...... YUK

  28. Probably due to at least 3 reasons. Lots of U.S. imports , Euro visitors , some Limey hotrodders build their cars LHD because thats cool in a RHD country and eventually easy to sell in LHD Europe for a good price .

I was also expecting to see some hot Austin A40s.

BTW japchris, thanks for the great event coverage :cool:

Hot rods are alive and well in the UK. Both organizations put on great nationals. It's still a lot of fun, kinda like it used to be in the colonies.
