Danny, another one of your Obsessions?! I Love these obscure cars, it's amazing how many great ones succumbed through out the years. HAMB Automotive History 101.

  3. In looking at the dealers list I didn't see a South Carolina dealer but noticed that there was one in the Island of Havana, Havana Motor Company, Havana Cuba. HRP

They might still have one in Cuba, but it's probably got a diesel in it!

Danny, that list is distributors, not dealers. The home state would have been distributed from the factory.

Danny does Paul still do tours at the Michelin museum in Greer?

  10. I believe he has been retired for several years, He took the car club on a private tour at the Zentrum museum and then he took us through the assembly process, at that time they had just started making the BMW roadster.

He had the Anderson on loan to the museum at that time. HRP

I found mention of the Anderson automobile in The Complete Encyclopedia of Motorcars 1885 to the present. Present obviously being the past as it was published in 1969. It’s a pretty amazing encyclopedia it has A to Z pretty much every car ever made. There’s also mention of the Anderson and Climber car in Monstrous American Car Spotters Guide 1920- 1980.

  14. The book arrived at the house yesterday afternoon, when I leafed through it I noticed it had never been checked our but does have the library stamp on the index page, the paper back doesn't appear to even have minimal shelf wear.

I suspect the subject mater just didn't appeal to any of the readers in Indiana. HRP

  15. BTW, the book was $5.99 on e-bay with free shipping and it just so happened Brenda had a 5 dollar credit so the book cost .99 cents, that's what I call a bargain. :) HRP
