I like the fender pods. It makes me nervous to see that body perched up on that retaining wall though.

I had a 46 Packard dash that I’ve been looking at for ages and today I decided to cut and shut it into the spare 30 roadster cowl. Yes I might build two speedsters 28 and a 30. Anyhow the first cut is the deepest so I measured twice and away I went. Bit of finishing off to do but it went in like a bought one.

Some conjecture in the night as I slept and dreamed that the original factory brow is a bit busy. It was a last minute add on as I had originally cut it off. I think I might delete it and go with the smooth flowing dashtop.

I like the Morris Minor pontoons, they will look great when finished.

I’m umming and ahhing if the original dash topcap with the sculpted, E7942B1B-C448-4596-A9D6-BDFF8229A518.jpeg BBE1323B-5ABC-4DA6-8965-A9776E02F247.jpeg blunt edge was better or deleting it and having the smooth dash roll up fully looks better. So I put a door on to visualise. But I might change my mind tomorrow.....

I think id leave it on, it looks more finished or fitting and flows into the doors, and helps that windscreen lower edge fit ,without it you'll need some kinda blend into the door tops in the dash, but both options are ok

The Buick grill makes it more aggressive which I like.
While the Packard grill makes it more elegant and goes with the dash which is a excellent choice.

Looks like I’ll build two cars at once . The Soeedster with the Duvall style screen and the 30 with standard chopped screen. Maybe fenders on one and fenderless on the other.
