Thanks for the compliment, future plans call for silver paint and a stock red interior.

So apparently my post was deleted for O.T. wheels. I posted a picture of a 62 Chrysler 4 door hardtop wagon that was for sale at the BTT50s. My buddy was considering it and we discussed all weekend what wheels to put on it if he bought it. I posted the photo, but honestly forgot about the wheels. Rules are rules and I broke them. My apologies to the Moderator. The second part of that post was on topic so let me repost it with more detail.

This is my latest purchase. It is a long story, but the high lights are: Two brothers I have known since High School bought it for $100 in 1973 or 74. Pulled the body off the frame, blasted and painted the frame and suspension rebuilt everything. Painted the bottom of the body and then reattached the body to the frame. They got that far and the first gas crunch hit. Muscle cars were being given away. I will not mention what they bought except to say the Buick is one of 13 and the Chevelle is one those really high dollar cars. The oldest brother built his house in 75 and the 57 got pushed to the back of the garage until 2 months ago when I bought it. it doesn't look like much but there were 6 pickup and 3 Trailer loads. Hundreds of N.O.S. parts, new GM grills, my57.jpg hood bars, weather stripping, wiring harnesses. The news paper wrapping the fresh chrome was dated 1974. Virtually 2 of everything needed to assemble it.

  28. My dad had a beige wagon like this, In 1967 I was playing in a band and it was loaded with amps, guitars, drums & a PA system and I got hit head on by a propane truck when the drive had a heart attack, fortunately the driver survived and so did my girlfriend & I, although both of us were worse for wear with cuts and bruises.

It broke my dad's heart, he loved that car and eventually found a later model to replace it but was never really happy with the 84 big block estate wagon, but it was Faster. :D HRP
