thanks.... thanks.. thanks no, I didn't build the frame, got it on a trade.... thanks , that's what I want.... a cool roadster
I'll follow this one . Thanks for posting. Noticed you use photobucket. Consider loading pics straight to hamb. Might save some future grief.
I don't know how to load pics directly to the HAMB..... well I just learned how......pretty slick....thanks for the tip.....
z'd up the rear 5'' and added a model a rear crossmember......using a model T rear spring over axle setup .....
Nice little A-V8 chassis there. Also using 'T' rear spring on my '27 tub. Get ready to lose some leaves back there...T spring is stiffer than a snake with rigor mortis! Who dropped the front axle? Nice shape there...
so, I followed the directions and it didn't work out. Welded the mounts in ,tried to mount a radiator and no way, the fan blade was into the fins. So called Pete & Jakes and the guy remembers vaguely that happening to him years back on a friends build. Something about the mercury flathead water pumps.... The pics will show how far back I moved them...... http://www.joesspeedshop.com/images/jsslogo2.gif
that's one way of reading it......since the model A didn't have a flathead I read that as pertaining to model a to '48 frame
