1941 ford pickup with a 283 Chevy, walker radiator, straight axle, stock frame.
I am having a hard time finding a good fit on the lower radiator hose for my application.
The most recent one I have tried is a gates 21505it is close but rubs on the lower frame brace, I have it snaked around the fender brace support as well. I am not sure I am happy with location.
I tried Napa 8625 close but to short
Napa 7286 is also a no go.
I tried bring the radiator down a bit to help with clearance as it was sitting on springs initially.
Attached photos to give you an idea

I haven't got that far on my '40, but it looks like I will build one out of stainless u-bends, with rubber connections at both ends.

That's really odd, its almost like that isn't the right motor for the truck.
Like Marty said, build it. On my 41 I will not be running the Y brace so it will be a bit easier to fit a hose.
