So me and Marcy have been going to this collection of auto parts for many years, this spring i went to visit and found the owner had passed away, in talking with the family they decided they wanted to sell off the collection and be done with it, so i talked with them and worked out a deal on buying it all, ive started bring back the stuff to my place but its just such a huge collection of stuff it can get a little overwhelming! I ended up teaming up with Grafe auction company in spring valley and set up a few auctions with them to blow out some of the stuff because i just litterally dont have the room, sorry if the post seems a little spammy! i will be starting to post stuff in classifieds as i run across stuff that pertains to this board! Ill keep adding to this post here and there when i find hidden treasures too! lots of goodies!

I admire you for all the time and effort you will have to devote to organizing and selling off all that stuff.
Hope you make a lot of dough as it's a lot of work.

Congratulations for saving that stuff, I think this will happen with a lot of collections in the future. IDing late model stuff will be a huge chore, hope you make the most of the investment of time and space. Bob

Is that where they store Hershey in the winter??
The collection seems nicely broken down by type of part. That will allow photographs that will allow customers to quickly identify goodies of the type/make they need. Or allow you to simply harvest the early Ford stuff and send all the Kaiser window cranks to elsewhere...

Was that auction about a month ago a test of the process?

  22. Good luck to all bidding, between the registration and the online premium too much for me.

  24. Do you know what all that stuff goes to? If not marked, what percentage do you think you can identify?

The previous owner of that load of parts wins. Contest over. The rest of us can just go on living.
