Hello everyone! I am an 18 year old in the bay area that owns a 65 chevelle with a couple of friends that own some newer forms of hot rods lol. Me and a very close friend are thinking of starting up a car club but don’t quite know what to go for along the line of names. Something from the “street fighter style” would be cool but also maybe something that goes together if that makes sense? We might put East Bay before the other word(s). I was thinking East Bay Road Rats but there is already an mc in oakland that goes by East Bay Rats and i don’t wanna risk running into them and getting my A** beat haha. Thank you for the help fellas! -Gordon

  2. Ok, ok, kid....I'm gonna let you "borrow" my car club name but only because you're so far away from me nobody would know the difference. [and also because I'm the only member] Are you ready?
    THE EAST BAY PILE DRIVERS
    You're welcome

You're 18 and asking 65 year olds for ideas and you come up with "too old school" and "lame".
You want something badass but don't want to get your ass kicked. You're in a quandary, Gordon.
    Go with "Irresponsible Lanechangers".

  11. Gordon, your on your own trying to come up with a name for your club, just get together and decide a name you can live with for the long haul, many guys start a club and within a short period of time the enthusiasm wanes and the club falls apart.

Good luck and don't get to serious with rules and if your successful the club you start will be around for many years.

The club I am in has been around since 1972 and is the oldest active car club in South Carolina. HRP

  15. "you ever meet someone from San Francisco?
Whats up with those people,it bugs me so much, they cant just tell you where they are from.
You're like: so where you from?
They're like: im from the bay area!
So you say this: Oh Really? Youre from Green Bay?no?
    Tampa Bay?
    Chesepeak Bay?
    Bay of Biscay?
    Galloway Bay?
Theres a lot of Bays guys!

Like, how pretentious is to claim two very big geographical features for yourself, Bay and Area.
    You cant just call that.
    Its not graphical.
People dont ask us where were from and were say inland and expect them to know."

  21. Despite what most on this tread have said the East Bay has a deep history with hot rodding and motorcycles.

I suggest you look in to that history, and come up with a name that honors that history.

I can't believe that I just read this entire thread.

  28. I did read the opening post. You have an 18-year-old kid asking for help with club names.
All I see is a bunch of Jr. high school dipshitness, from guys who are 45 years plus going on 12!
