If you guys use the thin plastic cutting boards in your house, go buy your significant other / chef a new set and keep the old ones in the garage. If you do the cooking treat yourself. Much better template material than that old pizza box and you look thoughtful, bonus. Menards had them on sale last time I was there, 5 pack $3. Just used some for an OT project making cab corners. Was able to figure out my pie cuts easily, Saved a lot of time and easy to work with.
I usually use 50 cent a sheet poster board but a few months ago I stopped in Hobby Lobby to get a few sheets and the lady was restocking the white poster board because some of it had bad corners and dirty hand prints, I bought 22 sheets for 5 bucks. If I need bigger patterns I just use masking tape to piece the boards together. HRP
