1941 Chrysler Thunderbolt concept car styling but as if it was a 2-seat sportscar built on a 1968 Corvette chassis.

    Hello,

The annual trek has begun. Bonneville 2019 is coming next week and the journey to the salt flats is on the horizon. There will be a ton of new builds and some old ones setting records, right and left. Full throttle acceleration, what could be better than that? Is it the prep for the journey and/or the destination?

During our hot rod days, we never gave a track-t style roadster any second looks. It must have been our liking of the “squarish” 27 Ford small grille or even the chopped version of the Model A grille. We always thought a 32 grille look funny when chopped or even on a Model A, let alone a T-roadster with a deck. Most of the roadsters had their own custom track style grilles, so, the only ones we saw were in car shows. (except for the Hunter, Hill, Acala Roadster )

With its full body pan, lowered stance, and a custom track grille, the smooth flow of the modified roadster, now, fills the bill. A small 283 SBC in the place of the original Flathead motor powers the red roadster. The highlight is the early, yellow, scallop flames and blue pinstriping.

    Jnaki

Have a safe journey and lots of fun.
