Got a few things done on the delivery. Got it cleaned up a lot better and got one side buffed about half. Got a real nice set of tires (That a Really Nice Guy from Arizona gave to me!!! Going to see if I can repay him with some parts for one of his 37s) mounted this morning on a very nice set of 16" wheels that I just had powder coated. (New tubes) and a set of original caps I had in stock. Just need to get it unloaded from the trailer now. I also purchased a set of NOS rear fenders and fender skirts. Also have almost all of the side moldings in NOS.
I also found another rear door with the hinges. On my rear door someone a long time ago cut about 3/4" off of the left side when the put some odd ball outside hinges on it. So between the two doors I might be able to make a good one. And still need the hinge parts that fit in the jam. And in the meantime I will continue looking for a better door and other half of hinges.
Great find. I'm building a Tudor Sedan right now. I have a thread on the build on here. If you keep a straight axle in it and use a modern powertrain, swap that front cross member out for a raised one to lower it. I did mine and got a good few inches lower. I dont believe it will work with a flat head though. Good luck on the build. I dig the SD but having kids I wanted the windows of a regular Tudor. It wouldn't be fair to shove them back there with no view. That's a really nice project. Back in the early 70s I had a 50 model that I turned into a "shaggin' wagon"! I put blue shag carpet from floor to ceiling and threw an old air mattress in it. But, what else would a 23 year old guy who just got out of the Navy do with it! Oh yeah, it did see a lot of action!
I guess the '48 sedan delivery I owned for 5 years never existed. The frame, shocks, steering column and ignition switch, and an 899A vin prefix was all a mirage. Last time I saw the mirage was several years ago with the guy I sold the non-existant vehicle to was driving it down the street in Palmdale, Ca.
Picked up a extra rear door and half set of hinges for my 46 Ford Sedan Delivery. I could see a couple of letters showing thru an old repaint so I did some buffing and lots of rubbing and this was what was underneath.
my friends 46, his late father built the car in 1984 then sold it, found it in 2012, bought it back & trying to keep it as it was in 84
Missing trim at cowl is a mirror. Or, so I thought. from 2 different S.D.s I saw. My '46 club coupe had a side mirror there also, but a bud said left and right trim were same, but I just left the mirror...

Nice find. They are way cool. Years ago traded a 6x2 sbc intake with stromberg 48s for a couple of body’s. Put the best one on a long box s-10. Way cool
Where is this one now? I remember it being for sale, not sure if it was when you bought it or if you sold it?
