History Willie Wilde Custom Cars

    that's one of Willie Wilde's cars. It is a 1946 Ford he was painted from black to green. Yes, that's the car on the photos from the beginning of the discussion. It traveled from the USA to England and many years later to Germany :)

    The shoebox that was partly featured here
    Is now in the uk (2 years now)
    And had a little make over. 833D2292-58DB-4050-97A2-AE13A78EFE87.jpeg

    Willie, I met Willie at Rod Powell shop when he and butch were working on Harold Olsens 1946 Chevrolet. If I remember it right that Rod and maybe butch both worked with him in the early days. Rod can give you more about that.

    It's great reading stories about people I have met. Willie was working on another friends car Harold Olsen's. I have always been a car nut and always enjoyed hanging out with my friends from Salinas Ca.
    Willie was is a true craftsman.
