Where is Ed's son Logan working now ? Logan was a Television personality in the Hartford, Connecticut area a few years ago. Logan is also a lawyer by profession.
I know it's hard to believe but sometimes back then you really had no choice but to take the chance. Every car had a bumper jack in the trunk with the spare.
The only thing missing in that picture, believe it or not, is the bumper jack they'll use after they get the motor in.

No. It's a Les Welch photo and in that era he was still on the west coast. Possibly the Panella Brothers and why they built the truck????? That's strictly a guess.
I lived in Anaheim...Never heard of it. I do remember going to Carl's on Harbor (Fullerton?). You could not get near that place on Fri. or Sat. night. It was the only place I remember that had to have rent-a-cops directing traffic. Some of the hottest cars in Socal could be found there.
