  3. SunBeam I bought I think it was a 66 or 67 A.M.C. station wagon right down the road a piece in Gatlinburg a while back. Had a bent tie rod and had not run in a while. I got it running and replaced the tie rod and got it aligned, then was coming toward my drive way one day and it started puking trans fluid up thru the fill tube. I thought I was screwed but got it up to the shop and dropped the trans .Pan .The filter was clogged from sitting .I put a new filter and pan gasket on and she drove like new. Bruce.

I saw that one on the Memphis craigslist but thought it was too much of a project for you to want to tackle.
Being as I graduated from high school in 1965 I don't see the mid sixties clunkers that some guys posted as old, plus they never had any appeal to me when they were new let alone now.

  17. A few years ago I sold a 65 Plymouth wagon for $400 still had the 318 poly. good straight body no rust. It went to Mississippi to star in a Demo Derby. The guys buddy came the next week and bought a 59 ford wagon. for $400 it also became a demo derby star.

  27. You cant go wrong with a tri five chevy . Parts are easy to find. They hold their value. and if you ever need to sell there are plenty of ready willing and able buyers.

  29. The chevy in the classifieds isn't bargain priced and its a More Door. Ive still got the 55 ford 2 dr wagon 1955 ford ranch wagon 001.JPG . Its a project. however $3500 would buy it. If it was a Chevy It would sell pretty fast at a larger price. Ive had a guy from florida lay $6500 in hundred dollar bills on the hood of the 55 chevy wagon in my avatar trying to buy it. And he wasn't a bit interested in the 55 ford wagon.
