Really nice 1920's photo, one of the earliest I've ever seen with a car equipped with safety runners under the front axle. The idea was the car would ride on the skid if a wheel fell off and not flip. Bob

It was taken in New York City and it was taken because those two kids Louis and Temple were about to drive that car back to Oklahoma pre-production 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS. The gills on the rear quarter did not make it into production.
