Moving along got the wheel wells and inside rear fenders edged in and wheel wells lined, Gonna do the GM 350 for now because of time I need to get my shop opened up for customers that are waiting, I've got a slant 6 forged crank I'm going to build and super charge it Next winter's project. I've only been working on it for 34 days, taking it to school next week and spray it Sent from my SM-G892A using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I think the 289 would be great! On the /6, I have a vague memory that a 195 crank in a 225 strokes it to 250, but it's been a long time since I've looked at them.
Studebaker fills the engine bay steering is totally in the way Sent from my SM-G892A using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
If you would have offset the small block Mopar 1 1/2" to the right, it fits as easily as any GM motor. I've done more then a few, in the door, change the motor, trans, rear end, and update the brakes, and driving down the road in less then a month. Having parts on hand sure helped. Not the Mopar's fault you spent too much time trying to install the Stude motor. Gene
On my '48 Plym I had to move the steering column to the left & use a couple of u joints to get the 331 in, had a Chevelle/cutlass subframe though.
Just got a chance to do an update ,I got the body in primer and the roof painted today it's got blue ghost pearl in it, when the light hits it it Sent from my SM-G892A using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Do you think dodge dart headers would fit ok? I have a set of those I kept when my dart was sold. I will need to find manifolds if I have to use those.

Very nice work Marvin. Your photos of the brake booster and master cylinder placement are helpful to my '49 Coronet project. If you could slip in an interior shot of the brake pedal, that would be of great benefit.
