A friend of mine just gave me a 1960 Cadillac sign (4'x2') missing the crest emblem on the lower left corner. All the letters are made of wood, my friend has two more in Nice condition. He picked them up about 3 yrs. ago at an old Cadillac / Pontiac dealership in Kermit Tx. He also found in the rafters of the same bld. 4 Pontiac Chieftain steel Signs, made of steel I think they sat on a base with a spring.

Kevin, I still have it and plan to restore it at some point and put it on my Pole along with some other signage. Also someone had mentioned a Warren Milks Rotosphere in this thread. I own one of those as well and was planning on putting it as the cherry on top. Trouble is they are high maintenance and Not cheap to restore.

Here are Some pics of My Rotosphere. One of less than 20 left. To me this is the ultimate Neon Sign, Everybody has a dealership sign or a flying horse. But very few People in this world can have a Original Warren Milks Roto-sphere. I happen to be one of those people. I don't think even the 2 Huge Neon sign Museums have one.

You should consider your self to be very lucky to have a real rotosphere, I have a few high end neon signs, and when I became aware of how cool and dynamic the original rotospheres are, I knew I wanted one as well. They are rare and very expensive. I hope you never sell it, those signs deserve to be in the hands of a person that can maintain it properly and display it! Good on you for saving that great piece of workmanship!

  18. Cock Robin ice cream, Brookfield Il. My favorite burger growing up was there "Big One". The sign has outlased the the chain and still stands like a memorial to the past. 13452842983_7171a28948_b.jpg
