  1. Great story on the LaSalle. It's definitely sitting. Thanks for sharing. Here's one I saw the other day. Looks like a project? Cool old Buick. 20190530_133457.jpeg 20190530_132914.jpeg

Really neat how these are grouped together. Love that row of Pontiacs.

  3. Ron, you find all the COOL old cars.I might have a buyer for my modern Buick Estate station wagon. If the sale goes thru. I will be looking for a old wagon to fix up again. Wish me luck! Bruce.

  4. Those cars pictured even if there setting outdoors are not setting and rotting. They appear to be a part of a well kept collection. Not a hap hazard mess like my hoard.

I believe the stuff in Wheatland belonged to an older collector, who also dealt in classic cars. He had a nice Pierce Arrow a few years ago, among others.

  14. Would appear to be a 34 Ford 4dr, U.S. body but the front fender looks wrong and the line in the L rear 1/4 window. Still looks 34 Ford. JW

Looks like a 33/34 Ford but the fenders look different,I think Hudson used Ford bodies around that time too.

34 ford, it looks like a wing window in the front door. Like JW pointed out the fenders are off a little. I wonder if the top is filled too. Neat picture btw!

Looks like a 34 Ford 4 door to me, but with some really bad body work done to the fenders.

  18. Fords didn't have a wing window till 1940. Hood is 34 ford as are the rear fenders. A front shot would be cool. JW

  19. That Ford looking Fordor is a Russian GAZ also nicknamed Emka. They had two different style hoods and grilles . Henry Ford sold them the body stampings, did the same with the model A .

  20. Three more of the GAZ. Patch panels from Macs fit like a glove .

Grille looks like Opel of the times. I knew about the Gaz A, didn't know they did the 33/34 too. Did they produce a model B also?

They never produced a B Model as the first GAZ As were not produced until 1932. During the War The GAZ M and GAZ AAs were produced at the same time. The GAZ A variants were the main cargo Truck of the Red Army right up to the end of the war. They were also converted into Ambulances, Fire Engines, Armoured Cars, Rocket Launchers and Anti Aircraft platforms. The GAZ M variants were the main staff cars with a number of them being made into 4 X 4 s. The GAZ As were virtually identical to Model As but the GAZ M variants had an X crossmember Frame with a semi elliptic front and rear end similar to a 35 Chevrolet Standard. The heavy duty fenders and running boards were designed to withstand the appalling Russian roads.
