Looks very nice! Are the fenders still part of the plan? I had a four door when I was in high school in 1961.

This is some of Michael Tregoning's work. I hope it looks this good when I get it on the road! Thanks Michael.

Have a slight fuel drip from the filter bowl and need to throw a timing light on it. I have no clue what the advance curve is with this distributor. Not used to Strombergs yet, jets are as it came out of box.

Very nice project, don't know why it took me so long to find it. Wonder what the difference is in a 1930 back section and a 1929? I'll measure my '29 door jamb to back glass tomorrow , it looks shorter than your '30. Bob

I will take a leaf or 2 out of the rear. I still have a bunch to do, but now it drives.

Very tidy... too bad they only look that way for a short time. Take a LOT of pix! Gary

I have the later column support but wasn't going to install unless there was a problem. I tried some of the epoxy stick that you kneed, and I don't think it will work unless I make a dam all the way around the casting. I will try a dab on the rivets this weekend. Using alcohol to degrease before sticking it. I dropped a second tank off at the radiator shop and having him cut it open and do it up right. Removing the old column support altogether. Wish someone was reproducing these tanks, but then they wouldn't be right and we would have to deal with that.

  22. The car looks great. I’m falling for the 4-doors I’ve been seeing lately.

I welded up all the excess holes in the frame horns today and made a spreader bar. If I recover from the heat and welding today I will touch up the paint in the morning. This was my first time mig welding.

DSCF2765.JPG DSCF2764.JPG Your car looks great! I placed a straight edge across the rear door jambs and measured to the rear glass and got 22 1/4 inches on my 1929 rear section, what would your 1930 measure? Bob

Bob, I measured 25". I may be a little off, but not much. I think I measured close to the top of glass and now looking at pic the back window is little bit of a angle. If you measured lower then we may be close.

Thank you for taking the time to measure your back section. I like the one piece look of your top, gives the car a nice clean look. Bob [IMG]

Mocking up a 32 grill shell and a Brookville 1 piece hood top. I am not sure I like it yet.
