    Hi Guys
Just installing the leaves in the rear of my model A,with all the leaves (8) it seems very rigid,I've heard so many thoughts on this ,but what would be a good starting point to begin with in regards to the amount an placement of the leaves, I've heard people say leave th 3rd an 5th leaves out,,, I'm guessing different cars , different weights, etc etc,
I've also heard of doing measurements and calculations,
Can someone give me a idea on how best to get to at least a start point
    31 Steel model A coupe
    SBC,Muncie
    No fenders
12 gallon fuel tank in Trunk
    2 1/4 wide leaves
8 leaves in the new speedway buggy spring (T ,I think)
    Using Bilstien hot rod shocks
    Cheers in advance

In my 29 Coupe I have the top tapered leaf, 3 middle leaves, then the main leaf. The suspension moves nicely.
