I have a pair of GM 1#3916336 head gaskets and am wondering if these are used on Ford flatheads. My dad had a couple of 59AB engines, 1/4 x 5/16 & 3/8 x 3/8 and it seems to me that he used these gaskets as well as Comeric & Fel Pro. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Probably not. Just googled the part number and it came up as small block chevy part. But, that's from the internet and the information is most likely wrong.

That is a steel shim gasket for a small block chevrolet.

Yeah you wouldn't want to use those on a flat head Ford

Don't use them. Flathead gaskets are specific.
