    Hello,

    Manuel Gonzales had one of the nicest supercharged small block Chevy race cars we had seen at Lions during our 1958-60 drag racing days. It was show quality and ran quite well.

    lions staging lane

    We are partial to those who raced and drive with SBC supercharged motors. It will be forever ingrained in our collective memories as a cool, powerful build for the drags. It is also an outstanding motor for a Saturday night ride down the avenue to Bixby Knolls. Our 671 SBC 292 motor had the sound and power to get things done.

    It's OT I know. And it's hard for me to photograph these as the black paper reflects the harsh light from my drawing lamp.
