Hey everyone, I have a line on a set of ford model a coupe 1/4 window garnish, I know there is a difference between 28/29 and 30/31 but I can’t find dimensions for either. The seller doesn’t know what year they are. I need a set for my 30/31 coupe. If anyone has rough dimensions of either kind that would be great. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
The 1928-1929 coupe quarter moldings are the same for either side. the 1930-1931 moldings are specific to the correct side. Lay the moldings on top of each other. The 1930-1931 moldings will not be in line with each other, ie: the inner curves do not match. Flip the moldings over, and lay them atop each other with the inner flat surfaces touching. That way. Both the 1928-1929, and 1930-1931 moldings will be in alignment. If you lay them atop each other from the side that is visible from the inside of the car, the 1930-1931 moldings will not line up. If I am chopping my top anyways would 28/29s work with a 30 Coupe, I will already be cutting the garnishes, I can just adjust them to fit correct?
