Hot Rods SUM-UP221G - Summit Racing® 2K High-Build Primer

Just noticed Summitt has a 2K buff primer. ( https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-up221g ).

Anybody have experience with it ? Price for a Gallon & Qt of activator, to the door is Total $81.97.

I usually use Mar-Hyde(R) 4.4 Ultimate(TM) 2K High Speed Primer Buff, with great results. Mar-hyde is $150+/-

I use the gray version and have for about 4 years. No complaints. I use a 1.8 tip and thin it 10%. Leaves little orange peel.

 

I know some of Summits paint is ready to spray, already thinned. Is the K2 still concentrated or thinned as delivered ?

I have gotten a answer back from Summit yet.
