Gotgas mentioned "futzing" with the caps on his beautiful Chrysler, to make them less stock-appearing.
Could someone please paint the centers (behind the flipper) the trim color, ala Watson?
    Other ideas?
    Thanks.

    You amaze me, madfish! Thanks.

What do you think about another band of color, as in this Watson cap?

065B0831-CADB-47A2-AB21-645CD9F909ED.jpeg Been running the wagon for over 20 years in this form with a change of caps every few years. Looking for some new ideas. Maybe lower it more with some Lancers on the wheels. Color change? Any ideas welcome! Whatcha got?! Much thanks!

    I really like this '56.

Perhaps try Photoshopping the top pillars white, for a visually slimmer profile.
    Nice ride!

  14. Could somebody widen the front fenders of a 48-53 Chevy Coe for me. I'm considering putting my Coe cab on a later model dodge chassis (blasphemy I know). And the dodge track width is approx 8 inches wider than the fenders on my Coe. I don't want to go through all the work if its gonna look goofy. The first one is mine but it might be better to use the second example or find on from the internet with a more straight on shot to widen the fenders. Thanks in advance.

  16. Thankyou moose. Your photoshopped version doesnt look too bad. If you wouldn't mind try this straight on shot, just so I can get a better perspective.

  17. And sorry, but one more to mess with. Turn this Austin into a 5w coupe please. I know they made 2 Dr sedans, but I'm curious what a coupe would look like. I drug home 2 of these last year and I'm not sure what to do with them yet. I was thinking a gasser coupe style.

I did a 4 door to 2 door sedan conversion in a custom style awhile ago. I updated that one as a starting point. Austin X Update Final.jpg

Then I converted it to a coupe with Matranga style side windows. We had a one of these when I was growing up, so I have always dug 'em!
