Looks like a '61 4 door hardtop! Also, great candidate for repair.

Four door hardtop, factory air and a three speed. The three speed seems like an odd combination.

I like that you kept all the crap on the motor and shoved it in there. Something I would do.

I’m pretty sure Jimmy Allard doesn’t rebuild motors anymore, his descendants don’t do the quality that he once did. In the 80s and early 90s when he was in charge, he was the Best in Texas.

Yeah I got the run around at Allards 6 or 7 years ago on my 327. After several months of bs I had to go get my shit back, on top of that they lost my stock cam and 11.1 pistons.

If you lean it back don't go to far because it changes the frame to cowel line a bunch. It will touch the dash rail in the center and stick out on the right and left corners. The more you tilt it he more it stands out. I like where you are going. Frank

^^ I really like that gauge panel, that’s a cool piece. Do you know any history on it or if there’s more than one?

I am glad you payed the windshield back usually one or two hacksaw cuts thru the back and sides are enough to get rid of that look of a pole sticking straight up. It just makes it look faster sitting still. Also curious about the dash panel. Looking good .
