Reminds me of the many times when we were kids traveling in the 50's. Short stops for Bologna or PB&J, chips and ice water from the Coleman jug so we could keep on the road. In the evening we usually got supper at a diner before we found a place to stay. Later on we got a camper and the meals and lodging were taken care of. Good times
