Perfect Roadster weather today! Drove up to Falls Village Connecticut with some friends and their wives. Had a nice picnic under an old shade tree. Here are some photos.
Didn't need to look at your pics Mark as I just looked at Teds but you posted a pic of a 61 Valiant 2 door hardtop while Ted only had a part pic of a wagon so you win this time LOL That Chrysler 300 is real nice-is that a 61 or a 62? Great pics and looks like a nice spot.
Falls Village, CT is where WW II Fighter Pilot, Race car driver and inventor John Cooper Fitch had his shop to upgrade Corvairs to "Sprint by Fitch" status back in the '60's. John also designed and managed the Lime Rock Park Racetrack just down the road from Falls Village. I think the building that some of the cars were parked in front of was the same one the shop was located in. It is a small village...
It is perfect. The entire town gets into it with flea market stuff and other activities for all. The drive to falls Village is very scenic. Perfect ride in the roadster. Thanks for looking.
