Dick Moroso and his famous Corvette and it looks like it was running F/MP on this day.
Great guy and hanging round his old shop taught me a great deal over the years.

This picture is before the day's of Moroso Products because you can see on the front fender the words Performance Automotive which was the original name of Dick Moroso's Shop. back in the mid 60's when it was located in Stamford, Ct.

    From an above post -
Great old picture of Pomona Raceway. The airport (right side of picture) hasn't even been built yet.
That's some "dip" in the racing surface just past half track..!

Yes, this looks like close to the '52 opening, as the asphalt looks recently paved. The old pump house at the end remained until around '57. Would love to know where this picture came from.

  21. Now if there was ever any confusion over header style terminology, these have got to be "weed burners", right? The more I look at this picture, the more they start to look a bit out of place. Are they period correct, or is the picture maybe a bit older than I'm thinking?

    Mr. rudestude -
ANYWAYS...what the hell is that ?
If you are gonna give someone a bunch of crap, at least use...a little more proper English.

    Anyways...Ice Ice Baby ...I'm out a here.
    Should be "anyway" (singular)..!

And for what it's worth, have the respect to spell a persons name (or even the shortened version) with a capital letter..."Stude".
