I think we are in need of some tech posts. I would love to see a tutorial on laying out custom stripes, flake etc. I follow a guy on IG that covers custom roofs. He does a lot of lowriders etc. I saw a roof painted last nigh that looked like stained glass in a church. I started thinking about how labor intensive it had to be and where and or how to start.

I was planning on flaking the roof and adding scallops on mama's 55, but I am not sure the process to ensure it looks right. I would love to see a pro do a roof with multiple colors etc. on a bc/cc platform.

If you have a request for tech week, post it here.

    Thanks,

    Root

  2. I want to know how to rob a bank and get away with it. The projects could use an infusion of cash.

I remember the truck, but I missed the tech
Or at least it didn’t pertain to me at that particular time in space.

This one? It kinda looks like a vinyl printed sticker with stripes to me. But I could be wrong.

It could be. I was looking at it on my phone with old man eyes.

I learned a lot from @Crazy Steve 's wiring 101 thread and look forward to updates to his use of ohm/volt meter thread as it's a tool I'm sure I could use frequently if I understood how to run it properly. No pressure on Steve, I'm sure the professor likes his Summers off as well as the pupils!!

  12. I would like to see a tech article on someone rebuilding a set of OHV heads using the old school hand tools to put in valve seats and guides without the use of machine shop equipment.
