    In January I had a surprise guest sit next to me in a booth at his eatery.
    None other than the Cam Father Ed himself. After greetings he said we needed a selfie. So a selfie we did. Then chatted like old friends. My friends that event is at near top of my life's happenings at my 76 on the pavement.

    Did Ed sell his roadster to Wayne Carini ? I saw Wayne's TV show, Chasing Classic Cars, and in a shot of Wayne's shop, there was Ed's roadster.

    Went to LARS this year and meeting Ed was at the top of my list, was so cool to hang out with him for a bit... he is so cool. Happy birthday Mr Camshaft.

    I got the privilege of meeting Ed, last year at the “ Meltdown Drags” in Byron, Ill. Most amazing person ever! It’s not everyday you get to meet a living legend! We visited for a spell, made my day! Heck, made my whole week! Got some pics , bought some cool stuff. The man is still working for a living at 97! ( by choice I’m sure). An inspiration to all!
