Was at our car gathering the other day, talking to a friend Greg who has this really cool black Vette
    [mid 60s roadster].
Turns out he bought the car a while back from Dick Beith.
That's the rear wheels I have on my car [Team 111].

Greg also had a 41 steel coupe named Paranoia.
427 Ford powered, sold it, now BBC powered.

He also had a black Anglia, former race car.

I had purchased a Featherlite trailer in 2006.
We had a new silver GMC Yukon and trailered the coupe to the Bakersfield California Hot Rod Reunion
the following year. We bought this unique 10'x10' tent that attached to the rear of the Yukon. CHHR 07.jpg
Nice set up, brought the coupe there many times.
Have since sold the trailer and SUV.
Constantly loaning it out got old quick,

Really enjoy the build shots so please keep sending them.

We had 31 friends meet up here at the house yesterday [14 cars] to be in our 4th of July Parade.
Really enjoy keeping up the tradition, watching the kids having fun too.
Then back to the house for a BBQ, been doing this for quite a few years now,

Car Doc, what tranny are you using?
I think the Torqueflight came out in 56 [?].
    Adaptor for a Chevy trans?
    Just curious,

Car Doc, your answer came out strange, blended with my question above [?].

Good choice of trans, a non electric 4 speed overdrive [GM] trans, you'll definitely be able to
    cruise the highways with it.
I'm running a beefed T-400 with no overdrive [plans were to race it].
Getting on the freeway with 457s was out of the question, changed gears to 389s and it was still
a bit much for freeway use so then switched to 345s and it's OK.
Had I known it was going to be a street car I would have installed an overdrive transmission myself.
9" Ford, always a good choice,

Car Doc, speaking of 9" Ford rear ends, this guy I knew had a 67 Mustang, 427, top loader, etc.
installed a new Detroit Locker and was upset about the clicking sound it made.
Pulled the pumpkin [389s] and handed it to me, freebee, stuck it in my 30 pickup.
    What a deal!

Anybody watch Fast-N-Loud last night? Discovery Chanel.
I usually don't care to watch this one but saw coming attractions last week.
    Aside from them recreating the movie Bullitt and running the Mustang in Sf;
the episode that followed showed them working on a steel Willys coupe!
I had company so I didn't get to see much of it,

Right after Chuck Finders passed away his son Chuck Jr. was asking for pictures of some of his Dad's builds. I sent him a couple and he autographed this magazine and sent it to me back in 2012,

Our neighbor Linn down the street stopped by Wednesday and said his grandson was staying
with him for a week. Said the 10 year kid loves hot rods and asked if I could give him a ride
    Thursday night.
The little shaver Jack came over last night with both of the grandparents, fired up the cars,
showed them the trophy room, gave him a ride.
    That kid was so excited!

Did I already post pictures of Randy's 41 Willys pickup as in yesterday's post?
    Here's one for an example,

I guess I should end this thread, the car is pretty much built.
Future plans are to have a black headliner installed; new black carpet,
have the Firebird bucket seats upholstered in black tuck-n-roll and that's about it.
That and continue to drive the hell out of it.
Thanks for all the "likes" fellas, enjoy your rides,
    Mick
