I am really looking forward to seeing this new car run, I will be there at Baileyton. Looks like you guys are getting a test day on Friday The 24th as well as the race on Saturday the 25th. Are you guys going to be there for testing day? If so I'm going to make both days.

Still first round loser but the car is making good passes now and I’m getting comfortable in it. I’ll post some pics and videos from today later this coming week.

Speedway motors rear springs. 5” diameter and 11” tall. You want to compress them to around 7-8”. For my car it’s fairly light and nosebleed heavy so I am running 125# springs on the rear.

Valve cover breather and evac hose! Didn’t have it zip tied to the down bar and it came out once we got it making fast passes lol. It’s fixed now.

Dad is gonna have the 57 back out at piedmont this weekend. Took a couple races off since the past two SEGA races were 380-400 mile one way trips.

Billy Edwards, fellow SEGA racer won C gas and we won A. All SEGA final round in C gas, it was Billy vs Alfred in the dammit bob 55!

After watching some video's of your car running and some still shots . You may actually have too much bite in the car. You may be spending more energy going up and not forward? Just an observation from me . If you have the adjustability raise your front ladder bar one hole and try it at a test and tune.
With the blue coupe in my avatar I had so many passes on it and so many times adjusting the ladder bars. I could tell you ahead of time how high and how far out it would carry the front tires.

At first I had to much separation and it was smacking the wheelie bars on the ground. Tightened the extension up on the shocks and now it’s hookinh but trying to unload in first once it hits. I’m going to tighten the compression up a couple clicks next, and pull the wheelie bars down a little. If it tries to hit the bars real hard, I’ll move the ladder bars up one hole and see what happens.

The big wheelies look good and fans like them, but they don’t win races! That’s 2nd gear there.

The blue coupe in my Avatar had a powerglide and it actually had a faster 60 foot with the back tires than if I didn't pull the wheels and broke the 60 ft. beams with the front tires, but with a 4 speed it is a whole different all game as you are finding out. I will be sorting out my Morris Minor in a few weeks trying to get ready for the Va. race.
With my 87 inch wheelbase I am sure wheelstands are going to be an issue. Good luck with your adjustments.
