Give Hilborn a call with the serial number. They will email you a copy of the original invoice showing how it was set up, the date it was sold and the name and address of the original purchaser. I have one of those injectors as well and have seen a few others. Never seen one run in modern times though.

  2. Funnily enough I mailed them yesterday...it will be interesting to see what they come back with!

Mine is serial #105. Hilborn always begins serial numbering with #101, which makes mine the 5th Cadillac injector they sold. HilbornCaddyInvoice.JPG

  4. That's an amazing piece of history! Mine is numbered 164. Does this make mine the 64th set of Caddy injectors or 64th injector sold across the range? I've sent it to Hilborn so we'll se what they come back with....I think it's great these companies have held on to their history...had a similar experience recently with Isky who spent ages talking through cam options from their archives...amazing service!

I love this Cadillac stuff, so sexy

    I just scored a 390 Mallory distributor,,,,was so excited.
I had such a hard time finding one I actually machine up a few adapters which allows you to run an olds 303-324 Mallory in a caddy motor.

You pretty much slide the adapter on the olds shaft, install the caddy gear and your done .

I’ll post some pics,,,, I’ll be selling a few of them soon.

Anyone know What year Cadillacs would of had a single lower pulley like the one pictured I borrowed from the kookie thread?
Since most had options like power steering and a/c
They don't seem common. but it takes up less space in a
    hot rod.

I am guessing non-AC cars? Would have to be up north. I don't think they had a non p/s option. Edit# I was wrong. See this thread. http://forums.cadillaclasalleclub.org/index.php?topic=147603.0

  13. You got me , wonder if it's for a Packard floorshift trans.

  14. I just parted off a double pulley to get a single,

I think my ‘53 331 had those pulleys. I used them for the clearance as well. I also got a smaller diameter fan from Summit (or was it Speedway) that fit right on and looks quite similar to the original Caddy unit.

No, I saw them go from $700-$1468. Not sure why the giant price jump.

EDIT####I ordered mine. Thanks for the heads up. Even if I don't use it, it can be resold. With shipping it was $180, can't beat that for a tranny adapter. @Moriarity maybe we should stock up?

    Here's the link. https://www.holley.com/search/?q=cadillac bellhousing

I'm so giddy......I never get deals like this. Makes me wanna buy 2.
