Does anyone happen too have a distributor guide or code book that can tell me the year of Chevrolet distributor number 1111013. It's currently in a 327 cu. in. engine. Thank you.

If it’s a early, cast iron distributor there should be a date code on the aluminum ID strap. For example 3D21 would be 1963, April 21. The later aluminum distributors have the date code stamped right next to the ID number.

Thank you. This is a cast iron distributor. There is another number on the band, but it is illegible. I apologize. Upon more careful reading, the band number is 1111073. Anyone happen to know the year of that distributor? I saw a code book once that lists all distributors (cast iron and aluminum) by the serial number, but I cannot find it on the internet. Thank you.

Priceless! Thank you. If I ever see one I'm going to grab it and add it to my collection of reference material.
