Features Can a kustom be kool without skirts?

My '53 Vickie semi-custom looked like just another 'stocker' after the 3" drop in rear, and 1-1/2" in front, 7.10 X 15 wide whites...Then I found the 'Foxcraft guy' at Turlock.
A pair of flare skirts made my Vicky 'swoopy'...

Most customs I think look good without skirts, never been a fan on them.

Skirts belong on girls, not cars.

 

I really like this merc. It look likes one a teenager would have in 62 or 63.

I sure hope so, I've never figured out how to install the ones I got with my "51 Ford!

I really think it depends on the car; they look great on some, goofy on others.

 

I love fender skirts they are very cool, but that being said, my 47 dodge looks just fine with out them, to each their own!

 

Curly was a great friend. And true HAMB er.

 

I'm really liking my Merc without skirts -

 

39 Merc with the wheel openings opened up a little.

 

Same car, and same owner. But a different paint scheme.
