I made a tool out of steel fuel line attached to a blow gun where I do not have to get the ladder out to clean the gutters,my roof is too steep to get on and I have plenty of air line but now need a new compressor.

  4. Put the Galaxie up on the hoist and started investigating a small oil leak at the back of the engine, looks like a pan gasket. Tightened the bolts, will run it tomorrow and see if that did it. If not the engine comes out again, getting good at that.

I noticed a nice looking classic Mustang with the hood up sitting in McDonalds parking lot. The elderly woman driving it said it wouldn’t start, even when someone else gave her a jump. I had her put the key in the run position and bypassed the solenoid with my jumper cables, it fired right up. I told her not to shut it off until she got to a shop or home. She tried to pay me, but I politely declined. I’d rather have the good karma...

Finally got the 377 engine to the shop and broke it in on the run stand, fired right up , no leaks , ran it 20 minutes at 2500. Need to shorten the advance curve a little but it sounds bitchin:cool: After that helped my pal Dave pull the cab off his 64 c10 and then adjusted the factory 4spd shifter on the 67 327 350hp El Camino. Good day in my book:D

went to Sears to buy a part for my shop vac only to find out our store is closed... did the whole chain go to the shitter?

then I went to the junk yard looking for a seat belt for my daily and struck out. junk yards are all corporate around here, so not much of an adventure. the car I drive every day is older than most of the wrecks

Still fixing my Brake light issue... Sigh, I am starting to think that the issue is within the wiring harness. Boo!

Can I pack a Lincoln Town Car or what? It was built in 1911 the gas tank and radiator should be good clues for the HAMB car ID experts. Going back tomorrow with the trailer for the body, frame and engine/trans. At 68 I can still roll a 1973 Caddy out of the way move all the parts for this car and roll the Caddy back. Paperwork and notes show that this was taken apart in 1975 and the project died then & there. It was a Very Good Day! Bob

  17. I inventoried all my parts that came in to get my intake, blower, crossflow radiator, complete new fuel system (filter, pump, -10 line, fittings) from fuel cell forward on so I can get the 41 up and running again.
But to my dismay I forgot to order the damn high flow regulator...ugh

My truck has lights!!! I can now go get my Coupe on Monday.

The root of the evil was some rat bastards ate at my fusable link for the lighting. It allowed 9VDC to pass through, causing me to get wierd readings and get confused. When I pulled up on the fusable link, I felt the teeth holes in the bottom of it. Trimmed it up, resoldered new wire in and now the ol Dodge is as good as new! Yay!

Pulled the distributor out of the 377 , disassembled it and welded up the the advance slot and filed it out. Put it back in engine and checked it again, 18 degrees initial 36 total. Warmed it up and readjusted the valves, Sounds freekin awesome! And yes I could have put an MSD distributor and box in it , but I kinda have a soft spot for old Delco distributors and beside's I would have to change my tach or put in a tach adaptor etc. Good day in my book:cool:

Etched half of the lean-to floor prepping for the Rustoleum Rocksolid epoxy paint this week. Then I remembered I didn’t take the Redbox movies back for my wife?! Be back in a flash! Regards, Randy
