    Hello,
The other day, we drove over to a So Cal industrial area, again. This area has our favorite tile/flooring/counter top store, as well as a huge appliance/fixtures store. It is our go to place for home improvements. Since we haven’t been here for several months, it was no surprise to see the blue and white 56 Chevy two door station wagon turning in front of us heading to the industrial area when we were coming up the hill past the train tracks.

Being a conscientious driver, my eyes are usually on the road (this time it was a hill, curve, and stop all in one corner on the way out of the area. So, it was my wife that spotted the 56 two tone wagon heading our way. The camera was not fast enough for such a pleasant surprise. Immediately, my wife said that was the same Chevy wagon we saw months back and that she likes it a lot.

Well, the conversation jumped to…it would look nice in our garage… Then, the question was brought up about CO, how did we teenagers not pass out when we used to all go to the beach with surfboards stuck out of the lift window tailgate?

On long trips, the surfboards went on top, but for the short, all day, road trips, they went inside of the rear tailgate opening with stuffed towels and t-shirts. No wonder we were all wandering around a little “Purple Haze.”

“Purple haze, all in my brain
Lately things they don't seem the same
Actin' funny, but I don't know why
Excuse me while I kiss the sky.”

    Hello,

Real American Racing Equipment, 5 spoke 15 inch Magnesium wheels, “the original” Torque-Thrusts… made this 1932 Ford Victoria rather racy looking. It had the “LOOK.” Big tires in the rear, small in front, slightly lowered ride, gave the sedan the California Rake that implied that he meant business. This 32 Vicky was show quality, but was a daily driver back in those early So Cal hot rod time periods.

The 350 SBC and the 4 barrel made it a reliable daily driver. It was painted a show quality, Cordovan Brown.

But, the most noticeable thing on the sedan was the 2 ½ inch chopped top. Coming or going, it added to the stance of the hot rod.
