It’s an entire pierce arrow dash grafted to the top rails of a stock 32 dash so that it bolts right on. Yes, the insert is a popular and rare item to have. You scored if you’re going to keep it! If not, I’m interested

Beautiful Eric! Hey- what did you use for the studs in the wheel wells? I found the Ford cage nuts but not the large head ford fender studs.

    Thanks
    Matt

Eric I saw your car at the show and talked with you. The car turned out beautiful. I had been following your build thread but didn't see the later posts that you had finished it. I didn't make the connection that it was the same car I had been following. Good job.

They’re fender studs same as model A. Early Ford Store has them.

  6. Beautiful roadster. Are those white Lyon wheel covers staying on OK while driving ? I thought they were for the widefive wheels with the big hubcaps.

They are for 16" rims and are pretty stout when they go on. I have some dialing in on the car to do and am in no rush now so once I get it road ready I can report back. I am going to kind of take my time and focus on 5/11/19 which is the nostalgia drags out here in Fontana. It is a nice little putt for me and the plan is to cruise with a few of my friends and their hot rods to make a nice freeway and parking lot presence. My wife gave me a lot of time the past 2-3 months and with a 1 year old who is getting more rambunctious and now being 9 weeks along in our second pregnancy the hot rod time needs to take a little break and get back to some family stuff.

  11. Agreee with all the comments. This car is spot on and well done. I dig the gray color... enjoy your family time, they really do grow up too fast.

Great build! The wood grain on the dash looks perfect. Who did that?
