I think the first one is a Bentley. You can see the winged "B" logo on the very rear.

My T build has extremely similar lines from the back of the doors forward.

 

I believe that is George Cerny's modified roadster. George was a well known body and paint man in California at the time.

Looks like an Indy car turned hot rod.....

 

My guess is a modified Kurtis Kraft.
The LARS shots from the Hollywood Bowl are killer!

Hello,
Here is the original version of that modified roadster filmed at Lions Dragstrip in 1959-60. They were on the line and the motor stopped. So, I recognized that guy pushing the roadster off to the right of the starting line. It is George Cerny, himself. At the time, everyone thought the Cerny's roadster was a great looking race car, with shades of the famous, Speed Sport Roadster style.

I did not get any action shots of this cool looking roadster. The paint was superb, as was George Cerny's signature paint jobs.
