  1. Tom, the six is here if you are interested. Re shuffling some things, and shifting gears. I have your 261 stuff if you want it as well.

  2. Wow, after several years I am re-energized. Been doing some small things on this project, just not posting. The eternal house project just drug on with a 1000 sq foot addition. Then I got busy for a while with McTim at Bonneville (more of that to come) Divorce (my choice) lots of kids baseball etc.....Anyway, girlfriend and I hit BTT50s and had a blast. Time to tie up some loose ends and get rolling.

  7. It seems the 350 I built for my old 54 Chevy sedan may be finding its way back to me. Hope it works, I built that engine and know what is in it.

  8. Been collecting fabric for years. The leatherette is from Skipstitch here 15? Years ago. Wool for inserts is a Faribault Mills blanket from Mn. Hope to have Jenn aka @stichbitch sew up the seat. Think a 70s take on the interior 20190725_195235.jpeg

  9. Tom, I found a 261 Head back in the corner if you want it. I think it is the one I rescued from Belle Fourche?

  12. OK, for those of you friends with me on FB know we are at the decorating stage on the house remodel. Now I have time for this and the Bonneville car! I will start posting some more stuff here. I took the stock GMC steering wheel and cut it down to a 15". I HAD to do this to keep the cool factory horn button.

  14. Ok, house project has stabilized. Cut down the factory wheel using a circle track doner. 15" is much better with PS. 1613349428040.jpeg

  15. Dad had these new Tri 5 Blackjack headers that look like they might work? Will not know for sure until I can mock things up. For a driver I honestly would be happy with cast manifolds 1613349511156.jpeg

  21. So, after cleaning up from the house remodel I noticed something last night. It seems the cowboy that owned this was hot rodding it. The red interior and stripped paint always intrigued me, but then I saw the split manifold! 1615770930554.jpeg

  22. Been parts collecting the last few months. Scored a nice TH350 from the same shop that did the transmissions in my 54 Chevy and my old Touring. He retired and this one came outta a SBC swapped OT RX. Very low mileage. Wife wanted the Auto over the T5, I agree. This is going to be a daily driver for us. Along with the tranny I got got an SFI flexplate, ARP bolts, New torque converter. Yoke and Ujoint as well as an ugly B&M shifter. They work great but the big grip handle and stuff are far from traditional unless your tradition is in 1989. Since the shifter has all the important stuff like reverse lockout and NSS I decided to go hunting for a nice shift knob. You CAN NOT believe how hard it is to find a simple color shift knob that is not METRIC to fit some Honda!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!? Well, I found a vendor after a couple days of searching. HUGE selection, great prices. I ordered a Maroon simple knob and had it withing 2 freaking days! Love to give Props to a great seller.

  26. Cool! I spent a week on and off looking for the right thing. My notsoshifterofchoice has the big 1/2" threads. I was real happy when I stumbled on his site via an image search. Quality of the knob is excellent

Scored a low mileage TH350 from they guy that used to build all of ours before he retired. My new bride preferred the Auto and then found a really clean 283 from a pal that is a local hot rod builder, Thanks Jamie! 16531690124691407846364951172026.jpg 16531690487641110551492250451691.jpg
