Been looking online and was wondering if anyone has used one, and their opinion of them. Seems like the Fuji models are highly recommended and Apollo is making one for Eastwood.
    Thanks in advance

My first victim will be my 99 Miata...…………...next victim will be my 1917 roadster pick up...…...and all that learning will go to the paint on my V8 '65 Corvair. I know I will post my experience.

Thanks that’s the one that gets the best reviews online. I thought the higher stage would be the best. Does it handle primers well ?

I sprayed epoxy primer and then polyester high build primer surface after that with no issues.

For my color I sprayed acrylic urethane.
Pictures of the spray booth I built and some paint pictures are on my build thread or on the painting at home in the garage or driveway thread.

It looks like the TP units are single stage . Anyone satisfied with the result? I bought a single stage Lemmer and haven't got to painting yet.

Higher the stage the more air volume and pressure to push the heavier primer

I would not have had any luck with a single stage turbine the 3 worked well enough for primer but better atomization from the 5 stage meant smoother flow for the final coats of paint.

Sooo... $1720.00 Canadian -that's like $47.00 U.S.? :p Seriously, @Blue One -you got the stage 5 and it barely pushed the primer?

No, I started with a 3 stage and it worked reasonably well with the epoxy primer.

But even being an inexperienced painter as in never having done it before it was obvious to me that I needed a little bit better atomization.

The 5 stage turbine worked really well and allowed me to do a decent job considering my experience or lack of it.
