I am looking to purchase a new set of assembled spark plug wires from an area parts store (e.g., NAPA, Oreillys, Advanced Auto) and would like a recommendation. What brand do you like the best?

  2. If you're running a stock ignition, the OEM-fit NAPA Beldens are excellent....

I am running a stock distributor with pertronix ignitor II module.

  4. Build your from Orilleys cost $17.00

  5. What's under the cap doesn't matter. The Belden sets are designed for OEM routing with a OEM-type cap. They can be a bit of a PITA to fit as they don't have any 'extra' cable but look 'neat' once installed. Most so-called 'custom' sets have too-long cables and it's tough to make them look good without shortening some of them.

“Best” is definitely subjective, but I would like to hear from those who are more experienced than myself.

I am currently running the Autozone 1600’s and am not happy with them. After one season of use, the are falling apart (metal breaking at the cap).

I would like to use an already assembled set if possible. I will take a look at the Beldens, but have heard that the wires are blue?

I purchased a set of Beldens today from NAPA. Thanks for the input!
