  2. Anyone have some pics of a light blue fat fender ford? Especially a tudor sedan? I'm thinking of using the same color as Ohio George Montgomery and want to know what it would look like in that color.

Here's my 47, parked in front of my house, loaded up and ready to head off on a 200+ mile trip to the RPM Nationals.

Here it is parked at the Nationals, the swap meet area is behind me.

And here we had stopped at Refugio State Beach to stretch our legs and use the facilities on our way back home. Almost 500 miles round trip, the car performed excellent, was a pleasure to drive.

I do plan on lowering the front a couple of inches, but have been busy with other higher priority items. I'll get there eventually. Enjoying it as it is for now.

Does this count as a hot rod?

  12. My '46 Old build from the late 50's/ Early 60's. Engine is a 291 Desoto Firedome with a '39 Ford trans. Interior was done in Tijuana. Paint is beyond tired black lacquer. It's is currently under full re-wire and engine rebuild (with a few power upgrades). Has a bunch of old speed parts that are getting refreshed during the rebuild too. Cragar engine to tans adapter, Hurst Hemi to Ford engine mounts, Schiefer bronze insert flywheel and Schiefer aluminum clutch. On the engine rebuild I am bumping up compression, having a cam reground and installing a HotHeads intake with a 500CFM carb, and headers. KIMG1610.JPG KIMG1609.JPG

  13. Lucky man, I love the car, it's awesome. Hoping mine will turnout as nice. Thanks for posting it, BigO

  14. It's been an adventure for sure. There are things that need to be redone. There were rodents in the headliner and it's honestly ruined. All the stitching is coming loose. Hopefully I can find a shop to mimic it. The paint is flaking off, so unfortunately I'll probably be re-painting it too. I don't see it as stripping away it's history though, just extending it's life. The only visual thing is swapping to the 4 barrel carb though.

Okay, I'll play. Here's mine - an early '47 long door coupe. I've decided to let her go and am looking for an early Falcon. 20171112_135420.jpg 20171112_135437.jpg 20171112_135457.jpg 20171112_135520.jpg

  30. Your dad would be incredibly proud of the finished product. Get it on the road to complete the cycle.
