Have you ever saw a face in that Custom? This type of thing for the most part is generally just random by chance and not always in your face but depending on all things considered its there.

I believe these animated talking cars things go way back and it probably started from an un-intended real time face in a vehicle.

Yes that series of cars is from the 1960 LA roadster show.

    Hey Stogy...
I remember one night, must have been 20 years ago. It was a beautiful warm summer night. For some reason, Sandy and I we're sitting in our 1951 Buick Roadmaster just kind of relaxing and talking. We were pulled upclose behind the house with the car facing the house. We lived on a curve on a well-traveled two lane road. We noticed that as the cars drove by, the shadow of the Buick, including us, would move across the back of the house. We must have sat there for a half hour watching that... kind of mesmerised.

Shadows are mysterious and mesmerizing and wonderful all in one...And in your case very active much like driving and the shadows move all over depending on curves in the road. The crisp shadows are incredibly detailed...

Thanks for sharing this special time with your Sandy...I can imagine what your describing...@Rickybop...how is your New Vintage Cruiser coming along?

    Thanks, Stogy.
Finally got the 440 engine home. Got the 4-speed bolted to it. I've been test fitting the last couple days. Trying to avoid having to disturb the firewall at all.
    Take off some parts.
    Give her a try.
    Nope... too big.
    Remove more parts.
    Make it smaller.
    Try again.
    Nope... still too big.
    Remove more parts.
That sucker's going in there this morning. LOL.
Lots of work yanking that big engine around. I feel like I've been lifting weights.

Shadows made by a nearby light source quickly get bigger if the object is moved closer to the light. And maybe most everybody was aware of this and I'm just slow LOL, but in recent times, I noticed that shadows made by the sun don't get noticeably bigger at all. I think it's because the sun is sooooooo far away that the light rays that shine on any given object are on such a minuscule angle.
    Okay back to getting greasy.
    Everybody have a good day!

Moriarity, If we are taking faces that reminds me of the James Bond villain Jaws.

Shadows many times get a Bad Rap but just as shooting against the Sun if you work with it it can yield a very rewarding outcome...That's a Great capture...

A shadow should be more than a blob of black, at least when it comes to cars. It should
tell you something about the car, maybe lead you to a detail or two.
