Would any one know where I can find a frog mouth scoop that would fit a Rochester 2G? The inlet is 3 inch dia. So far all I can find are scoops for carbs with 2 5/8. Inch inlet.

    Thanks so much

I believe a limited number were made about 15 years ago - 6 were put on Atomic Punk - and 6 more on a car built locally. I think this is all correct - but 15 years is a long time.

  5. Are you sure about those measurements? I ran a set on my 2Gs (had to add small set screws) but they fit my 97s as well IIRC?

2GC carbs came both ways. the smaller ones for early Chevy and early Pontiacs were 2 5/8". For Olds Buick, and later Pontiacs and Chevys were 3". 265, 283, and 307 had the small ones. 327 and 350s had the big ones. Tripower Pontiacs had a big one in the middle, and a small one on each end as did Cadillac

I had a 61 Pontiac with factory tri-power and all the carbs took the same air cleaners. I bought factory air cleaners from a local dealer for it

sorry, but that's backwards. Small center, big ends, until they went to all big carbs.

If I remember correctly my big base 2 barrel of a 401 nailhead took a bigger one . Used an adapter to use a 4 barrel air cleaner down to it .
