**Final updates and build photos at post #54**

Just wanted to share a few photos of the '61 Cadillac 390 I've been working on. The motor will eventually end up in my '34 Ford 5-window coupe I'm hoping to get started on shortly. L&R Engines in Santa Fe Springs, CA did all of the machine work and balancing. Isky cam, lifters and pushrods, custom JE Pistons using the stock crank and rods. ARP rod and main bolts, Sanderson headers and (3) Stromberg BIG 97's up top making 750 CFM... Pretty excited to get this thing together!

I was thinking, if it performs as good as it looks lookout. Then scrolled down and saw the coupe.
    Awesome. Nice stance.

    Sutton Speed,
Great looking engine, and coupe, also!
On the Isky 270 cam spec page, it lists the lift ratio, using the 1.5 ratio, from the earlier engines... did it turn out alright using the 1.62 ratio from the '61 mill?

What brand adapter for the transmission, please? Years ago (1965) I had a '61 Cad and needed to adapt a '37 LaSalle box to it. Adapters for 390 Cads were not readily available...Flywheels worse.

Great combo there, perfect '34 and excellent Cad mill, also love the chrome valve covers...
No doubt about what it is!

wonderful.... I think the Offy 3x2 intake for a caddy is probably one of the most beautiful manifolds ever made.....

That's gonna knot up your pucker string immediately! Torque begins at idle and doesn't know when to quit, and that's when they're stock...(!)
